I Think I'm All Set With eBay

I dunno, it seems like more work than it's worth. I can't believe no one bid on those awesome crucifix candlesticks...Ugh. Now I have to find a home for them. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to donate some stuff, including those darlings, to the Miles Memorial Hospital League Rummage. It was an annual thing that happened in Damariscotta, Maine, every fall back in the day, then it switched to Summer so the silly summer people could attend and now it is an on-going operation! My mother said it used to be so nice when it was in the fall, but I'm here to attest that it was pretty bad when it was in the summer. Not that there wasn't a lot of fun stuff, it was just the trying to get through hordes of snotty people intent on the bargain of a lifetime that was not so fun. But it's in a large building now and they have vintage jewelry and stuff? So I was thinking I could donate stuff that I think is, uhm, not for me, shall we say? And then get that donation discount of 10% and use that little discount to buy some pretty jewelry! Right? Right! Those candlestick holders did provide inspiration for my blog, though!  I was inspired by my follower to add a new button that says, "I want those for my Birthday!" It only really goes with pictures, but is available under each blog post. Whatever. I'm a novice blogger. :)

eBay's Okay

I put twelve items on eBay and people have bid on five of them. I'm pretty psyched~! Woo! Bring it! Come on my little eBay people. I can't understand why no one has bid on my Crystal Crucifix Candlestick Holders.

The Makin's for a Fine Beaded Bracelet

These are some of the beads that are sitting around being wicked inspiring.

When Research Happens to Good People

I don't know if this happens to all good people, but do you know what happens to me when I do research? Like for instance, I was looking at these really pretty wrap bracelets on a certain sporty-girl website? They're made from waxed linen and beads. Anyway, I wanted to make some (or one) so I looked on the interwebs to see if there were instructions? And there were instructions- right here - .http://www.how-to-make-jewelry.com/how-to-create-a-beaded-leather-wrap-bracelet.html But then I just keep looking and looking.( I mean, you try it! Just try it! Look at just Christine's site. I swear you'll go from one thing to the next getting madly inspired like I did) Then I send links to my BFF, then we talk about them and how they're so expensive and say we should make them and then I write about how they're expensive and I should make one and before I know it, my baby is awake and the time when I could have done some bracelet making has flown off, never to return. And this happens all the time! You see? If only life didn't get in the way...
